Deck Cleaning

Wood and composite decks cleaned without gouging the boards

Free EstimateSan Mateo & the Peninsula · 7 Days

A deck is the surface most often ruined by a pressure washer in the wrong hands — too much pressure furs the wood, gouges the boards and leaves wand marks that never go away. We clean redwood, cedar, pressure-treated and composite decks the right way: a deck cleaner applied first to lift the grey and the algae, low pressure with a wide fan tip along the grain, the railings and stairs washed by hand, and a thorough rinse. A clean wood deck is ready for stain or sealer in a couple of dry days, and we'll tell you when.

Our Process

1

Look

We check the wood's condition — loose boards, raised nails, previous finish — and price the clean.

2

Clear & Treat

Furniture off, deck cleaner applied and given time to work on the grey and the green.

3

Wash

Low pressure along the boards, railings and stairs by hand, nothing gouged.

4

Rinse & Advise

Rinsed clean, furniture back on, and a note on when it will be dry enough to stain.
