ADA Accessible Parking Spaces

Blue spaces, access aisles, symbols and signage that meet California code

Free EstimateSan Mateo & the Peninsula · 7 Days

Accessible parking is the part of a lot most likely to be wrong and most likely to be cited. California's requirements — the number of spaces for the lot size, van-accessible spaces, the 8-foot access aisle with its hatching and NO PARKING lettering, the blue pavement symbol, the slope, the posted sign and the tow-away notice — are specific, and a lot that was compliant when it was built often isn't under current code. We lay out and paint accessible spaces to the current California Building Code and ADA standards, and we'll tell you what your lot needs before you order the signs.

Our Process

1

Compliance Check

We count your stalls, check what the code requires, and tell you what's missing — in writing, before any paint.

2

Layout

Spaces and aisles measured and chalked to the required dimensions, on the flattest ground with the shortest route to the door.

3

Paint

Blue field, white symbol and lines, hatched aisle and lettering, all in durable traffic paint.

4

Sign-Off

A photo record for your files, and a note on the post-mounted signs the code requires.
