Concrete Cleaning

Slabs, pads, steps and aprons — flat concrete done evenly

Free EstimateSan Mateo & the Peninsula · 7 Days

Concrete is porous, and everything that lands on it — oil, rust, tannin, algae, tire rubber — works its way in. Wand-washing it leaves stripes; a garden hose does nothing. We clean concrete of every kind with a rotary surface cleaner and, where the stain calls for it, hot water: patios and pool decks, garage floors, warehouse floors, equipment pads, steps and stoops, retaining walls, and the aprons and pads around a commercial building. The result is one even color, not a slab of clean stripes with dirty overlaps.

Our Process

1

Assess

We look at what's in the concrete — oil, rust, organics — and what the concrete is, since a broom-finish slab and a polished floor need different pressure.

2

Treat

Each stain type gets its own pre-treatment. Rust, oil and algae don't come out with the same chemistry.

3

Clean

Surface cleaner across the field, wand on the edges and verticals, hot water on the stubborn spots.

4

Rinse & Seal

Rinsed clean and, if you want it, sealed once dry so the next cleaning is easier and further off.
