Crosswalk Striping

Pedestrian crossings for lots, campuses and private streets

Free EstimateSan Mateo & the Peninsula · 7 Days

A crosswalk tells drivers where people are going to be. We stripe crosswalks in parking lots, on private streets, at school and office campuses, and between a lot and its building entrance: standard two-line crossings, continental (ladder-bar) crossings for higher visibility, and the stop bars and yield lines that go with them. White or yellow, sized to the lane, and laid out so the crossing lines up with the curb ramps and the accessible route. A fresh, bright crosswalk at the entrance is one of the cheapest safety improvements a property can make.

Our Process

1

Site Check

We look at where people actually cross and where the ramps are, and lay the crossing out to match.

2

Layout

Bars and borders chalked square to the lane.

3

Paint

Painted with the striper and wide stencils in traffic paint, two coats on dark asphalt.

4

Cure

Coned until dry; open within the hour in most weather.
